Cineflix Corporate Identity


Project summary

The international TV company Cineflix came to Mindcorp from Canada asking if we would redesign and revamp their corporate identity. Looking to consolidate their position as leading within the television market, they wanted their identity to demonstrate their work as forward thinking and innovative.

We started redesigning the Cineflix visual identity by using an uppercase and lowercase C and playing around with monochrome ideas

The logo became a small C inside a large C representing a holding company with different divisions; emblematic of the parent and subsidiaries – also illustrative of an eye, echoing the original identity but bringing it into the 21st Century.

The project was completed with an eighteen page creative document detailing the branding guidelines for reproducing the Cineflix identity. As with most corporate guidelines, the logotype, letterform, visual relationships and colours needed to be specified so as not to be altered or distorted.

A clear understanding and the consistent application of these guidelines are central to achieving the key brand objectives and ensure consistency in future branding ventures.

The online media was supported by a large amount of print merchandising, application to stationery, signage, exhibitions, correspondence and publications.
