In the TV industry, printed catalogues, brochures and flyers have long been the medium through which distributors choose to share their content with buyers, and they continue to work as an effective way of transmitting information. However, in a digital age where content is increasingly interactive, there is the need to take these catalogues into the digital space.
The benefits of an application include more space for content, easy transportation, the ability to show video, effective search and filter, access to analytics, just to name a few.
A major hurdle with using apps in the television distribution market is the lack of wifi at content markets. We have overcome this by providing an app where all content and video can be downloaded onto the sales team’s iPads and therefore can be used offline at the events.
