Mindcorp was asked to create pre-sales key artwork for a thrilling six-part drama series for Sky Atlantic and CANAL+, based on real events. The ambitious new series mixes high octane action and hard-hitting drama and was to be launched at MIPTV October 2015.
As the series was yet to be completed we had limited imagery including a small sample of approved cast shots to work with.
Using key approved shots we created a style that combines the criminal and police world with a European elegance. The visuals resonated well with the producers in terms of their vision for the series. They helped to create hype before the launch and give potential buyers a taste of the fast-paced drama.
Sky eventually premiered the show on 12 November 2015 to its 21 million customers in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria and launched simultaneously across all five markets in which Sky operates as Europe’s leading entertainment company. An average audience of more than 700,000 UK viewers have now watched the first episode. The show (following in the footsteps of Fortitude) went on to become Sky Atlantic’s most successful commission to date.
