Now that the weekend is nearly upon us, it’s time to get excited for a certain football match.

England vs France sounds like it should be more of a World Cup final than a quarter final!

ITV rebrands as ITVX is introduced

ITV gets a major brand overhaul to coincide with its new ITVX streaming services.

DixonBaxi and ITV Creative have collaborated to design ITVX’s brand identity and refresh all five ITV channels with a new logo and typeface.

According to DixonBaxi’s senior strategist, Claire Langer, the rebrand needed to feel more “authentically eclectic”. The visual language is packed with bold and vivid colours with playful characteristics.

Fifa World Cup 2022 typography

With the Wold Cup 2022 on full play we noticed the typography on the players kits.

This changes with almost every World Cup game and this year some of the designs of the typeface is showing a modern and aggressive look, pushing the boundaries of your standard bold typography.

Mindcorp’s Pick of the Week: Wednesday

Netflix recently dropped the new Wednesday series directed by Tim Burton and it HAS to be included in Mindcorp’s Pick of the Week. The series follows the iconic Wednesday Addams from the Adams family, where she is sent to Nevermore Academy and ends up in deep investigation for a series of murders, while making friends… and foes.

‘Wednesday’ consists of eerie aesthetics with Tim Burton’s famous use of chiaroscuro lighting. His commitment to making every character authentic is what makes this a great watch, including the ‘Thing’, which was played by an actual actor/magician/illusionist wearing a blue suit revealing just his hand.

3D Custom Air Pods Max

The ‘Air Pods Max’ solution by Offgod is the boldest’s project yet, as he collaborates with Gleb Kostin to bring their characters to life.

The Hong Kong-based designer Offgod and St. Petersburg-based creative Gleb Kostin, have combined their innovative minds to built this custom sculptural attachments for the Apple Airpods Max. The 3D model of the sculpture is truly eye catching.
