The logo and visual identity for Paris 2024, which combines a gold medal, the Olympic torch, and the female figure Marianne, was unveiled in 2019 and will be used for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Recently, additional elements, including pictograms, have been introduced, incorporating aspects of French culture such as fashion, food, architecture, and history.

Julie Matikhine, brand director of Paris 2024 said, “combining sport and style is the graphic signature of Paris 2024.” and the visual concepts were based on the play on words, “Sous les pavés, les Jeux”, which translates to “Under the paving stones, the Games.”

As many of you have seen by now, AI generated images has been the talk of the town.

We decided to see for yourselves using Midjourney as to how well it performs using our prompts to create various and interesting images.

Though there have been contrasting views against using text-generated-images because it removes the need for creatives, we discovered that is not the case. It is more useful for creating moodboards and concept ideas wether it is for a jewellery design, poster, event stand, architecture, etc. It is a great starting point but not the final product as the prompts are only understood by the AI to a certain extent.

These tools have attracted numerous architects and artists everyday to create new concepts and visualisations. And rightly so, these images are brilliant.
